WESTBOROUGH, MA – Wakefly, a Boston based online marketing and web development firm, wins an Award of Distinction at the 2015 Videographer Awards. Our submission of the “Steiff NYC Workshop” Video won in the Video for the Web, Special Events category. This is the first year that Wakefly entered a video in the competition and we are thrilled that we were chosen.

Wakefly Videographer Jared King stated “Our video portfolio has really grown over the past two years and it’s really nice to be recognized for all the hard work we do.”

The video was created on behalf of a client to use as a promotional tool. The workshop was held in November of 2014 and the video was used in their email, across their social media platforms and on their blog.

About the Videographer Awards

The Videographer Awards recognizes outstanding achievement by talented individuals and companies in the video production field. Entrants include video production companies, advertising and public relations firms, corporate communication departments, cable and broadcast television operations, government agencies and schools, independent producers and wedding and special event producers. Past winners have come from all 50 states and numerous countries.

There were about 1,300 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries in the 2015 competition. Entrants included audio, video and film production companies; advertising agencies; PR firms; corporate and government communication departments; and independent creative professionals such as producers, directors, editors and shooters. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
