Drummond Community Bank
Web RedesignDrummond Community Bank was organized by a group of Chiefland business owners who were passionate to adhere to two guiding principles to embrace the old-fashioned idea that banking remains a people business and to be open to “change” as a tool to enhance service.
Project Overview
Wakefly was hired to redesign the Drummond Community Bank website. This was a different and interesting approach to a banking website based on Drummond’s very unique aesthetic and design of their branch offices. Each branch location is decorated and showcases carefully curated furniture, artwork and museum quality pieces that honor and tell the story of the community that they serve.
The challenge with this website redesign project was to balance Drummond’s requirement that the new website extend the brick and mortar customer experience to an online banking experience. This was done through the use of large format striking photographs of the different branch locations. Each picture was carefully cropped and presented in a way to best connect with the branch location. In addition to this careful attention to aesthetic, a practical and well thought out website user experience was planned and implemented to support the needs of the online banking customer.
