Working with Wakefly has been a great experience. Migrating a large, mature website with millions of organic visitors every month is a high risk proposition. Wakefly successfully guided us through the entire process of site optimization and migration of over 1 million pages. I couldn’t imagine a better partner.

Site MigrationEncyclopedia's trusted references from sources such as Columbia Encyclopedia and Oxford University Press have allowed them to create and offer free, innovative tools that rate the usefulness of their content.
Project Overview
Encyclopedia.com came to Wakefly looking for help with a site migration, hosting, and search engine optimization. The current site was custom-built and the content was difficult to update. We helped them migrate their content to a more scalable Content Management System (CMS) which allows them to manage their large amount of structured data more efficiently as they continue to grow. The new platform provides the ability for them to deliver a faster performing website and ensure that it's optimized for current industry performance standards.
We retained the current design but completely rebuilt and migrated the back end. Wakefly also consulted with them on SEO tactics to improve the site’s presence. As a result, site visits have broken a record by reaching the highest level in the company’s history.
